Vermont House unanimously passes bill to ban PFAS, or 'forever chemicals'

"In Montpelier, a bill that would ban certain chemicals found in everyday products received final approval from the House on Thursday.

A roll call vote passed unanimously, with a vote of 130-0.

A discussion was underway in the House over a bill that would focus on what are known as PFAS and other so-called "forever chemicals" that are often used in makeup, menstrual products, clothing and much more."
